Lovers of stage drama have a date with pupils of Dowen College today (Friday) as the school’s theatre group will present a play titled The Stand, an adaptation of Tears of a Bride by Oyekunle Oyedeji.

The performance, holding at the Agip Hall of the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos, promises to be very exciting as the young dramatists are out to display their talents and determination to excel.

According to the management of Dowen, The Stand is being staged to raise funds and  create awareness for the Sickle Cell Foundation.

While Dowen College is the executive producer, Lami Phillips is the director, with King Aliero and Toni Biyi-Boyede as assistant directors.

Because of the cause of humanity the Dowen College Theatre is championing through the show, it is charging N1.500 as fee for pupils/students and N3000 for adults.
